REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy)

Love Yourself. Be Brave. Ask for Help.

REBT is founded in 1957 by Albert Ellis, one of the main originators of ‘Cognitive Therapy’.

REBT is a form of therapy that involves facing the rationality of some of your negative feelings. It focuses on thoughts or beliefs that can end up being self-destructive, and it tries to replace those thoughts with something more positive and rational. So, it is based on the idea that reflecting and rethinking your own emotions and behaviours is critical to continued emotional growth.
